IOM’s new World Migration Report is due to be launched by the Director General at IOM Council on 27 November 2019.

The World Migration Report 2020 draws upon the current body of available data, research and analysis on migration to help build the evidence base on some of the most important and pressing global migration issues of our time. For information on migration trends and issues globally, the World Migration Report 2020 is an authoritative reference like no other.

Building on the success of the World Migration Report 2018 (IOM’s most downloaded publication of all time at over 400,000 downloads), the WMR 2020 provides two parts:

  • Key information and data on migration and migrants;
  • Complex and emerging migration issues.
