Training on Child protection and Special Vulnerabilities in Migration Context  held in Zagreb on 10 - 12 October 2017

As the part of the Protecting Children in the Context of the Refugee and Migrant Crisis in Europe project IOM  Zagreb organiized a Training on Child protection and Special Vulnerabilities in Migration Context on 10 - 12 Ocbober 2017 in Zagreb, Croatia..

Hosted by Matica hrvatska, non-profit and non-governmental Croatian national institution, the three day training course had the objective to provide social, humanitarian professionals and other general services providers working with  migrants and refugees with relevant knowledge and skills concerning general concepts and guiding principles . In particular, topics such as  children in refugee and migration crisis, unaccompanied migrant children – special risks and vulnerabilities, child protection problems and violations as well as sexual and gender based violence in migration context were presented during the training. The sessions included lectures, and role-playing examples  which enhanced the learning process of participants.
